How to Move and Resize the Mac OS X Dock

Change the Dock’s location

To move the Dock use the Dock Preferences:

* Go to the Dock preference pane in System Preferences.
* Go to the Dock menu item under the Apple menu.
* Control (⌃) Click on the Dock itself.

Then choose a Position at bottom, left or right.
Change the Dock’s size

To make the Dock smaller or larger:

* Go to the Dock preference pane in System Preferences.
* Go to the Dock menu item under the Apple menu.
